

I assume the reason why the bed gets heated up first is that it takes much longer time to heat the bed, and the nozzle gets compared to that much faster to its dedicated temperature. for example, M140 S T0 this will take the layer 1 temperature for bed 0 for example, M104 S T0 this will take the layer 1 temperature for extruder 0 If you have the commands for or in your starting G-Code script, the software won't add in heating commands, it will just run off of the commands in your starting script. If you're not a fan of the fact that Simplif圓D heats up the bed/extruder, thn runs your starting-script, you can customize this, by using the commands below. I believe the is substituted with the temperatures from the temp tab when the script is run.ĮDIT: Indeed it's not well documented by Simplf圓D for some bizarre reason but there's reference to it on their forum here I copied that out of the "Starting Scripts" tab in my Simpl圓D profile, seems to work fine.

They're generated by S3D based on all the checkboxes and whatnot on the temp tab. The codes that actually set the temp aren't in the scripts tab. The geometry itself has no errors (S3D also reports no errors), so it should not have caused this slicing issue.I don't believe that'll work with Simplif圓D. So again, it is most likely a small rounding error or something within S3D that causes this (and remember, it works flawlessly in 4.0.1), so even if it might not happen often, it should still be looked at by S3D to determine the root cause. And then this extraneous wall going inside the frame.

However, if you look closely at the file provided, you will see that at one of the short ends of the frame S3D feels the need to squeeze a thin wall perimeter in the middle of the 4 perimeters, so it creates 5 perimeters instead. The wall thickness of the frame is exactly 1.6 mm, which is exactly 4 perimeters. Removing all of the inner structures and leaving just the frame still causes the additional wall to be made. Granted, it's a freak accident of a bug, as I've played around with the CAD model to see what affects it. So getting around the issue is possible, but that doesn't mean it's not a bug. I gather you've remeshed it in some other application (3D Builder?), which obviously recreates the geometry by redrawing the triangles and also changing the amount of triangles in the mesh. 3Try replacing your shape file with the attached file.and see if it slices correctly.
